Hello Nurse! Would you be interested in plastic surgery nursing at Jorvi Hospital's plastic surgery ward? We are looking for a nurse for a permanent position in the HUS Support and Plastic Surgery unit at Jorvi Hospital. Our ward has 15 beds. We are moving to a new hospital and new premises in autumn 2026. Common procedures in plastic surgery include breast reconstruction, skin or soft tissue tumor, pressure ulcer, burn, congenital malformation, and various wound repair surgeries. Wound care expertise is emphasized in nursing. Patients often arrive at our ward directly from the emergency department or planned for a surgical procedure, but also via ward transfer or intensive care. We value: - an enthusiastic attitude toward learning - good interaction and teamwork skills: good care is the result of patient and multidisciplinary cooperation - an innovative and developing approach - Experience in surgical patient nursing and wound care is considered an advantage. Individual orientation is supported by a teaching nurse, orientation coordinator, colleagues, assistant head nurse, and head nurse. Experience in the care of plastic surgery patients is an advantage but not a requirement. We support the coordination of work and leisure through community-based and activity-based shift planning. We work multidisciplinarilly. The nurse's work is three-shift work and starts on 5.10.2026 or by agreement. Jorvi Hospital has affordable parking (16€/month) and employee housing near the hospital. The nurse's task-specific salary is €3,218.18/month plus possible experience and other bonuses. The salary increases according to the salary program when your work includes special tasks requiring broad and deep expertise in addition to the demanding basic tasks of specialized medical care. You will join the Operational Result Area, where nurses collaborate in changing emergency situations to ensure safe patient care. You will also work outside your own ward if necessary, according to jointly planned patient-centric operating models. We would like to hear more about you.
