Success in the role As the Real Estate Development Manager, you will be responsible for diverse and demanding real estate development projects as well as the strategic development of real estate assets. The University of Helsinki's Premises and Real Estate sector is responsible for the management and development of the university's real estate assets valued at over 1 billion euros. The real estate assets are owned by Helsingin Yliopistokiinteistöt Oy and the University of Helsinki funds, and the majority is used by the University of Helsinki. The assets consist mainly of special properties, about 30% of which are protected by decree. The university develops its real estate assets sustainably and responsibly, enabling the university's long-term operation on four campuses and in several locations. Campuses are developed into pleasant and diverse areas that respect the characteristics of each campus and are good for studying and researching. The development of campuses and real estate is guided by the Campus Vision 2040, for which we are seeking additional strength to move forward.
