Lead the day-to-day delivery of the logistics package for a major construction project. Manage CLG team on site. Coordinate logistics planning with the Campus Lead and client teams. Ensure logistics operations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to CLG best practice standards. Oversee logistics planning, reporting, and performance management across the project. Drive collaboration between CLG teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Take ownership of operational and commercial performance of the logistics scope. Responsibilities
- Lead daily logistics coordination meetings and communication with site teams.
- Oversee logistics audits, reporting, and action close-out processes.
- Ensure all logistics operations comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Manage recruitment and development of logistics personnel where required.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and supply chain partners.
- Monitor site activities to ensure they are planned, programmed, and executed safely.
- Manage project risks and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Ensure accurate reporting including weekly, monthly, and project performance reports.
Requirements
- Significant experience in construction logistics or large-scale construction project management.
- Proven experience managing logistics teams and subcontractors on complex projects.
- Strong understanding of logistics planning, coordination, and operational delivery.
- Experience working with project clients and stakeholder teams.
- Strong reporting, communication, and organisational skills.
- Experience managing health & safety and environmental compliance on construction projects.
