Haemme social counsellor for a fixed-term position in the Housing Support unit in Helsinki for 1.9.2026–9.2.2027. The unit provides housing services under social welfare law for homeless residents. The role is in the Housing Support on-site team; responsibilities include supporting life-management skills of clients with addiction/mental health backgrounds using supported housing and service guidance. Clients are assigned a responsible worker from the on-site team and a service plan is created with the client. We work in a broad network with social and health care services and third-sector actors. Home visits are typically done in pairs. You plan and schedule your days; travel by public transport. The employer provides a commuter ticket; two company cars may be available. The team consists of 15 social counselors and a lead social counselor with regular meetings and supervision.
