Induction hardener

Hilamet Oy is a company that provides heat-treatment services, with customers across several industrial sectors. Both individual pieces and larger production batches pass through the company. We are now looking for an induction hardening operator for a permanent employment relationship in Ylihärmä, Kauhava. In this role, you will operate a CNC-controlled hardening machine and be responsible for quality assurance at your own workstation by carrying out batch- or piece-specific measurements. You will also maintain the cleanliness of your workstation. The role requires a precise, careful and energetic approach to work, as well as enthusiasm for learning and applying what you learn. Technical education, the ability to read drawings, a willingness to do hands-on work, programming skills and possible previous experience in similar duties are considered advantages. Good physical fitness supports success in the role. We will train you in the details of the work and, depending on your interest, also offer the opportunity to learn about other heat-treatment methods. For the time being, the work is mainly carried out on morning or day shifts, but we value readiness to work evening shifts when necessary. Working hours are flexible, and a working-time bank is in use. The Technology Industry collective agreement applies, and pay can be agreed according to skills and experience.
