We are seeking an instrument technician for a substitute position at the Meilahti endoscopy unit for the period 24.8.–1.11.2026. The work is a two-shift system from Monday to Sunday. Work begins on 24.8.2026 or as agreed. You will work with endoscopy equipment used in gastro- and colonoscopies as well as urological procedures. You will work closely with colleagues, representatives of the client unit, and other professional groups. Your duties include the maintenance of medical devices and equipment used in patient examinations and treatment, such as cleaning, disinfection, packaging, and sterilization. Ensuring asepsis and patient safety are your most important tasks as an instrument technician. Your work is paced by routines, but your days vary according to the tasks. We value a development-oriented and flexible attitude. The person selected for the position must be 18 years old. Eligibility requirements Degree as an instrument technician. Language requirements: good oral and satisfactory written skills in Finnish, and satisfactory oral skills in Swedish. We require vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in customer and patient areas, and a health certificate regarding pulmonary tuberculosis for those working in healthcare operational units. Salary Salary is determined according to the SOTE agreement. The position-specific salary is €2,578.74/month. In addition, possible experience and other supplements are paid. Interested?
