A Care Helper is a person trained in the social and health care sector who provides daily assistance and companionship to a designated elderly person. The Care Helper supports the elderly person in all kinds of daily chores, such as outdoor activities and shopping trips, home maintenance, support with dining, accompaniment, spending time together, and chatting. The Care Helper supports the senior's well-being holistically. Care and nurturing tasks include: shower assistance, monitoring condition, supporting the ability to manage at home, supporting mobility Additionally, you may assist the client with showering and personal hygiene. However, the duties do not include the implementation of medical services, such as medication administration. What does the work of a Care Helper require? A passion for helping elderly people. Additionally, the work of a Care Helper requires education in the social and health care sector or as a care assistant, or extensive experience in care assistant work. The most important thing is that you want to spend time with elderly people and make their daily lives better through your actions. The work can be done according to your own situation, and the working hours are very flexible. What is the best part of being a Care Helper?
