We are seeking a nurse for a fixed-term position to complement our multi-disciplinary teams at Lehmustokoti in Järvenpää, part of the Jampankaaren service yard. The unit provides around-the-clock residential care for elderly residents (36 beds across three floors). Teams include practical nurses, registered nurses, care assistants, and other staff. The nurse will be responsible for nursing duties, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians. The role emphasizes high-quality, resident-centered care and functional everyday activity support, with strong collegial support and opportunities to develop practices with the team. Requirements include a social- and health-care college degree or equivalent from a previous diploma-level program, and licensure as a nurse under the Health Care Professionals Act (559/1994). Finnish language skills at a good spoken and written level are required. The position is from 12.10.2026 to 31.03.2027 with a monthly salary of 3385.90 EUR and there is pay progression based on experience. Vaccination and TB clearance are required for frontline patient work, and a criminal record extract is required for work with the elderly.
