Do you want to make a difference in students' well-being and academic results? Åbo Akademi is seeking a committed and experienced study psychologist at 70% for the period 1.10.2026–30.9.2027. In this role, you will contribute to strengthening students' study skills, motivation, and mental health. The employment is a substitute position located in Turku. Responsibilities As a study psychologist, you have a central role in promoting students' well-being and study ability. In your work, you provide individual support to students on issues related to learning, motivation, study-related anxiety, self-regulation, and stress management. Support is provided through receptions, group activities, and courses, both on-site and online, as well as through the development of support materials. You also assist other psychologists and are part of a study psychologist team consisting of three other psychologists: two based in Turku and one in Vaasa. The team has regular weekly meetings and close cooperation on current issues. You can also contribute to strengthening staff competence through training and collaboration. Competence Requirements We are looking for someone with a Master's degree in psychology and a license to practice as a psychologist. You have very good knowledge of Swedish. Since you will meet both national and international students, you also need good knowledge of Finnish and English. Previous professional experience in a relevant field is an advantage.
