We are looking for maintenance technicians for the food industry! Are you an experienced maintenance technician with at least 5 years of practical experience in equipment maintenance in the food industry and capable of operating independently in a production environment without constant guidance? We are seeking qualified maintenance technicians for permanent and full-time positions in the food industry for our client. Workdays start from the Vantaa office, from where you move to customer sites in the Uusimaa region. The work is day work and starts in the autumn. There may be urgent and project work on weekends. The employment contract is signed with Henkilöstöliiga as permanent. Job Description The task combines mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on the electrical and automation side. The work is independent and responsible, emphasizing the ability to locate equipment malfunctions, make repairs safely, and return production equipment to use as efficiently as possible. It is important to be able to operate in the hygiene and production environments required by the food industry. Your duties include, among other things: - maintenance and repair of production equipment - investigating electrical and automation faults with measuring devices - troubleshooting related to sensors, actuators and controls - maintenance of conveyors, pumps, valves and bearings - testing of equipment and safe delivery back to production - preventive maintenance and documentation The core of the work is the independent resolution of production disruptions. You do not do one narrow work step, but are comprehensively responsible for production maintenance situations. The work combines mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, measuring, adjustment, testing and safe return of the device to production. You find out what the fault is caused by, limit the problem, repair the fault safely and ensure that the device can be returned to production without compromising hygiene, quality and occupational safety. The task is suitable for a person who can take responsibility for the operational condition of the device from troubleshooting to repair and delivery to production. We expect from the applicant You must have at least 5 years of practical work experience in mechanical industrial maintenance, a significant part of which is in the food industry, and the ability to perform independent troubleshooting using measuring devices. We expect experience in pneumatics and hydraulics, as well as PLC/HMI troubleshooting. You can read electrical drawings and understand the practical knowledge of electrical and automation technology from a maintenance perspective. You can take into account the hygiene requirements of the food industry. In addition, we require: - education in electrical and automation / machine installer / maintenance - electrical safety card or SFS 6002 training - occupational safety and hot work card and a hygiene passport - fluent Finnish language skills Electrical qualification S2 is considered an advantage in the search. Not all cards need to be ready at the application stage, but experience and expertise in maintenance play a decisive role in this task. The salary level takes into account especially food industry maintenance experience, electrical/automation expertise and the ability for independent troubleshooting.
