Shift Electrician at Outokumpu, Varmband in Avesta, Sweden. Are you a driven electrician who wants to be a part of a world-leading company? At Outokumpu, Varmband we now seek a shift electrician for our maintenance team. In this role you will work in a dynamic environment where safety is the highest priority. You will work closely with mechanics to handle urgent machine failures as well as plan and perform preventive maintenance. The role includes working with advanced technology and challenging tasks that develop your competence and technical understanding. It also includes administrative tasks and sometimes supplier contacts, giving you the opportunity to contribute to development and improvement of our processes. The position is full-time and involves a 5-shift schedule. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of Outokumpu’s electrical equipment; developing electrical maintenance to ensure a reliable production facility; active participation in the company’s safety work to create a safe working environment; contributing to improvement efforts both individually and in teams; supporting the organization’s various departments with preventive and corrective maintenance; using our maintenance system Maximo. Your profile includes gymnasial education in electrical, industry, automation or equivalent; being structured and responsible with a strong drive; initiative-taking and solution-oriented; good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written; good computer skills; experience with fault-finding and PLC skills; experience with maintenance and maintenance systems for machinery and electrical systems is meritorious.
