Welcome to JobCrawls! By accessing and using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our platform. We are a Finnish company, and these terms are governed by applicable Finnish and EU laws.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should discontinue use of our services.
2. Editorial content and listings
Search results and structured job data are produced from publicly available employer postings and our indexing systems. Explanatory articles follow our editorial standards on sourcing, corrections, and separation between editorial content and advertising. See the Editorial standards page linked from the site footer. Job listings are sourced from publicly available employer postings and third-party data providers; we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of any listing, and we are not responsible for the hiring practices, application processes, or content of third-party employer websites.
3. User Obligations
You agree to use JobCrawls in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not use our site in a way that violates the rights of others or restricts or inhibits anyone else's use and enjoyment of the site.
4. Eligibility and Age Requirements
JobCrawls is a job-search service intended for working-age adults and is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or submit a job application through our services; if you are under the age required by your country's law to consent to data processing on your own behalf, you must have a parent or guardian's permission to use JobCrawls. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below this age, and we will delete any such data if we become aware of it.
5. AI-Assisted Features
Some profile features (such as CV tailoring, cover-letter drafting, and profile suggestions) use third-party AI services to generate content based on information you provide. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies; you are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-assisted content before using it in a job application. See our Privacy Policy for details on which third parties process this data.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and data on this site, including text, graphics, images, and software, are owned by JobCrawls or its licensors. You may not use or reproduce any portion of the site's content without written permission from us. Exception: our published aggregate job market statistics (e.g. salary, remote-work, and language-requirement analytics by location) are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). You may reuse and redistribute this data provided you give appropriate credit with a link back to jobcrawls.com.
7. Crawling, Scraping, and Attribution
If you access, crawl, scrape, index, mirror, or otherwise programmatically collect job listings or other data from this website (including via automated bots, scripts, or AI agents), you must (a) include a direct, dofollow hyperlink back to the specific page on jobcrawls.com that the content was sourced from — that link must point to the exact source page itself, not to our homepage, a different page, or any other link found on that page, and (b) visibly display the JobCrawls logo and clearly attribute JobCrawls as the source of the content, in reasonable proximity to where the content is used. This requirement applies in addition to, and does not limit, our robots.txt directives, the license terms in Section 6, and any other applicable provision of these Terms. Automated access that does not comply with this section is a breach of these Terms, and we reserve the right to block, rate-limit, or take further action (including legal action) against any party that does not comply.
8. User Content and License
You retain ownership of the profile content, documents (including your CV), cover letters, and other material you submit to JobCrawls ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant JobCrawls a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit it — including to the third-party AI and other service providers described in our Privacy Policy — solely to provide and improve the service to you. You are responsible for ensuring your User Content is accurate and that you have the right to submit it.
9. Limitation of Liability
JobCrawls and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of our website or services. In all cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Finnish and EU law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our service at any time without prior notice. We will not be liable should we exercise this right.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to our website if you breach these Terms of Service, or where we reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent fraud, protect the security or integrity of our services, or comply with a legal obligation. Except where immediate action is required for security, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons, we will provide reasonable advance notice before terminating or suspending your access.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally may be brought before the competent courts of Finland. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection afforded by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, and you may also be able to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets; you may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JobCrawls regarding your use of our services.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of our site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
