We are seeking experienced project planners for Naval Systems and Land Systems at Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace. You will be part of one of our project environments and play a central role in planning and delivering complex delivery projects. Naval Systems develops and delivers advanced solutions for military surface vessels and submarines. Together with our partners and subcontractors we develop and deliver combat systems, weapons systems, navigation, control and safety solutions, infrastructure and simulators for military vessels worldwide. Land Systems develops and produces advanced weapons management systems with extreme demands for robustness and performance. We deliver world‑leading systems to national and international customers, and our projects cover the full lifecycle from design and analysis to procurement, manufacturing, testing, delivery and ongoing follow‑up. Role as project planner As a project planner you will be a central part of the project team and work closely with the project manager, technical leadership and other disciplines. You will be responsible for establishing and following up the project’s progress plan and use it actively as a steering tool throughout the project execution. We look for you who have experience with project planning and who quickly can get into complex projects, understand interdependencies and contribute actively to creating progress. Responsibilities: Establish, develop and maintain integrated project and progress plans at a high and detailed level Follow up and analyze progress, deviations, dependencies, resource needs and critical path Identify risks and opportunities related to the project’s progress Analyze consequences of changes and delays and contribute to realistic forecasts Assist the project manager with identifying and following up corrective actions Lead and facilitate meetings related to planning, progress and coordination Ensure good coordination between work packages, disciplines, suppliers and other stakeholders Contribute to planning of procurement, production, logistics, testing, shipments and deliveries Contribute to continuous improvement of project planning and progress management We want someone with: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience from project planning or progress management, preferably from complex technical delivery or system projects Good understanding of project execution and the project’s various phases Experience with establishing and following up progress plans and analyzing dependencies and critical paths Good experience with MS Project and Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage Relevant higher education in technical fields, project management, planning or similar. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken Who are you?
