This winter season posting seeks an adventure guide for Pyhäkuru, a cliff- and rope-pulling adventure park in Pyhätunturi, Finland. The role begins 18 November 2026 and ends 1 May 2027. No prior experience with adventure parks or formal guide training is required, as we provide onboarding. We are looking for a reliable, proactive, energetic customer service performer with good physical condition, proficient English, and enthusiasm for working outdoors in Lapland’s winter (temperatures can reach -30 C). A positive, uplifting personality is a plus as it helps create a memorable experience for guests. Your duties include welcoming guests, equipping and guiding them on rock climbs and via ferrata experiences at height, encouraging guests during thrilling moments, preparing and selling café products, maintaining safety and the park’s daily tasks, responding to emails and other customer service tasks, and documenting daily operations on social media. The successful candidate will be upbeat, responsible, able to start independently, work well in a team, and communicate clearly. The main skill required is customer service. Work hours are 32–40 hours per week, with typically Wednesday–Saturday shifts. Some evenings and night work (aurora viewing adventures) may be included. You must be at least 18 years old, have access to a car, good physical condition, and proficient English. A valid EA1 and hygiene passport are required. Pregnancy and acrophobia are disqualifying. Some climbing or adventure-park experience is an advantage but not mandatory. A D1 or D license and a valid professional driving qualification are an asset; we may plan customer transportation between Rovaniemi and Pyhä and may include driver duties and sales if you have the license. We offer thorough onboarding, a small relaxed team, guests from around the world, and a unique and stunning work environment at Pyhä tunturi, with the possibility to rent a furnished staff apartment. Salary is determined by the collective agreement, job demands, and experience, at 10–13 EUR per hour.
