We expect your application! We are now seeking a nurse for a fixed-term contract in the Riihimäki southern team of the Home Care unit. The substitution lasts until 29.4.2027. Your duties as a nurse include a variety of nursing procedures, customer visits, and close cooperation with other team members, customers and their relatives. Your key responsibilities are planning and delivering patient care and ensuring their well-being and safety. Your work will emphasize customer-orientation, empathy and teamwork. You will work closely with the team and other nursing staff to ensure the best possible care for every patient. Your closest colleagues are four nurses and a skilled group of nurses. Nurses have defined clients you will become acquainted with during your daily home visits. The job requires a nursing degree and approved LOVe exams. We hope for previous home-care experience. We are looking for someone who is collaborative and able to work independently but with teamwork in mind. Oma Häme offers extensive job benefits: travel allowance, culture, well-being and sport allowance (Epassi Flex), occupational health care at Terveystalo, up to 38 days of vacation per year based on experience (Saturdays don’t consume vacation days), diverse opportunities for training for all staff. In addition, experience-based increase may apply, amounting to 3%–8%. Vacation days accrue based on length of service. Working hours are 38.15 hours per week. A criminal background check is required in accordance with the Act on the Status and Rights of the Patient (741/2023) section 28.1 and a certificate of infectious disease status per section 55. Salary and other terms are determined according to the SOTE collective agreement. A trial period is in effect. Immediate patient care requires vaccination protection as per infectious diseases act and a TB-related health statement.
