Marketing Trainee

Merus Power Oyj is a technology company founded in 2008 that supports the transition to sustainable energy. We design and produce innovative electrical engineering solutions, such as energy storage, power quality solutions and services. Our scalable technology enables renewable energy growth in power grids and improves society’s energy efficiency. We are a domestic innovative electrical engineering expert with a global, rapidly expanding market. In 2025 our turnover was 54.6 million euros, and we employ over 160 people with internationally valued engineering expertise. We are growing and seek an curious and proactive MARKETING TRAINEE to join our experienced international marketing team. The role is a unique opportunity to learn about future energy systems and international business. Responsibilities include: designing, scheduling and publishing social media content; content planning and production (writing, image editing); website maintenance and development; small marketing projects; practical organization of trade shows and events; use and maintenance of CRM and marketing tools; updating marketing materials. As your skills grow you will take on more independent responsibility for projects and marketing development. Work is available about 1–2 days per week during semesters, with the possibility to work more during holidays. We work together at our Ylöjärvi facilities and remote work is possible when tasks allow. Our aim is to provide a long-term development path alongside studies. We are curious, take action and support each other.” What we expect: you are a 1st–3rd year university or polytechnic student in a technical, commercial or other applicable field; you have some experience in marketing through work, student organizations, own project or content production; you communicate fluently in English and Finnish; you master social media platforms; you have basic image editing skills, video editing is a plus; you are curious and proactive with fast learning ability; you are goal-oriented and efficient; you have a positive can do attitude and good collaboration; you are interested in technology, business and marketing.
