The Northern Pohjanmaa–Kainuu responsibility area under the Real Estate Formation unit is responsible for real estate formation services and part of the owner’s service portfolio. The unit’s duties include issuance of rights to plots, transfers of common-area shares and subdivision of plots. Services to landowners include private land settlements, boundary delineations, property consolidations and parcel exchanges. The unit employs about 300 professionals in the surveying field. As the responsibility area manager you will be responsible for the service delivery of the Northern Pohjanmaa–Kainuu responsibility area, including leadership of operations, goals, personnel and finances. Your task is to ensure the productive realization of services in line with the Statistics Finland/Maanmittauslaitos strategy and customer needs, taking into account changes in the operating environment. Your duties also include continuous development of the responsibility area’s operations and service production, and active stakeholder collaboration. You will act as a supervisor for 36 people. Personnel are currently located in Kajaani, Oulu and Ylivieska. As the responsibility area manager you will support the skills, performance, well-being and development of personnel and drive change. You will organise work and ensure smooth operations in a multi-site working environment where work is performed both remotely and on site. Your tasks also include creating prerequisites for good cooperation and interaction within your area and maintaining open workplace communication. You will participate in the management and development of the Real Estate Formation unit as a member of the leadership team.
