We are seeking a committed early childhood education teacher for a permanent position starting 1 February 2027. Placement at Veikkola daycare at the start of the contract. As an early childhood education teacher you will be responsible for the pedagogical activities of your team, assessment and development, and you will participate in your site's early childhood education work and its development together with the daycare director. You will have the opportunity to influence your work and we welcome new ideas. Veikkolan päiväkoti operates in bright and pleasant premises in Veikkola town center. The daycare moved to a new building at the beginning of 2021, but the daycare has long traditions — it has served families in Veikkola since 1973. The activities are based on the individual needs, strengths and interests of the child, from which we create projects of varying durations in collaboration with the children. Central are child-led activities, phenomenon-based learning and experiential methods. Each day for a child includes play and movement as a valued part. Eligibility: The qualification of a kindergarten teacher as defined by Varhaiskasvatuslaki §26 (540/2018). The position has a six (6) month probationary period. - After completion of the probation, a recruitment allowance of 150 € / month for 12 months is paid to a new early childhood education teacher, provided permanent employment and required qualifications are met. - When starting the role, a police background check as required by the Act on Background Checks (504/2002) for persons working with children must be submitted.
