We are seeking a Sustainable Construction Project Manager / Specialist for Rejlers’ energy and lifecycle unit, based in our Vantaa office as part of the construction division. Rejlers’ construction division offers comprehensive services for a variety of real estate projects, including office and commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, educational institutions, culture and events venues, residential buildings and industrial needs. We operate nationally with over 200 experts covering architectural, structural, MEP, electrical, AV and fire safety design as well as construction management. We also provide strong expertise in energy and lifecycle planning to ensure sustainable and efficient solutions throughout the life cycle of buildings. In addition to lifecycle management, we handle environmental certifications such as LEED and BREEAM and serve as consultants for ENV labels during both design and operation phases. What responsibilities we offer? You will work on core questions of sustainable construction within our energy and lifecycle unit. You will be responsible for environmental consulting on construction projects, low-carbon targets, lifecycle planning, and carbon footprint calculations at various project stages from design to deployment. You will also act as project manager for projects that are environmentally certified such as RTYL, BREEAM or LEED, ensuring the sustainability goals are achieved from project planning to deployment. You will guide sustainability in a practical manner together with designers, clients and project teams and help clients make sustainable, low-carbon decisions that support circular construction. Your duties may include other consulting and development tasks according to your skills and interests, and you will participate in developing the unit’s operations and services in a growing expert team. You are solution-oriented and collaborative. You work well with large, complex scopes and perform your work carefully. You will work closely with your team and our clients, so we value excellent communication skills and a motivated attitude. You may have a few years of experience in the field or a more solid background – the most important is the interest in developing sustainable solutions and willingness to learn and grow as part of a growing team. We expect: relevant education or experience in environmental engineering, energy engineering, sustainability consulting and/or building services and buildings; experience with one or more environmental certification systems and their current versions; project management skills; at least a few years of lifecycle management experience in建筑 projects; excellent Finnish language skills. We regard as a plus: knowledge of current and evolving legislation and cost control, experience or credentials in environmental certifications, understanding of project phases and roles and potential to promote sustainability in projects, knowledge of low-carbon and circular economy governance in construction, evidence of business development and experience guiding other experts in the organization.
