Enhetschef till Hovilinna

We are currently seeking a unit manager for child protection shelter care at Hovilinna, Mynämäki. Hovilinna is a home-like seven-bed basic unit for children over 10 years old, providing a supportive setting to help their growth and schooling. The unit’s staffing ratio is 1.0. The role combines responsibility for care, upbringing, and rehabilitation work with daily governance of the residence and supervisory duties. You will oversee the care, upbringing, rehabilitation work, client relationships, staff, and finances; plan and ensure resourcing, competence, and operations; act as the supervisor to the unit’s mentors; be part of the unit’s care and upbringing workgroup; participate in service evaluation and development. Requirements include a social and health or upbringing AMK degree and prior experience in child protection; leadership experience and neuropsychiatric expertise are advantageous. We value an independent, organized approach and a genuine interest in impactful child protection work and empowering leadership. The position is permanent and full-time, with on-site work at the unit. Employment follows the Private Social Services Sector collective agreement. A criminal background check is required for working with children, along with a valid driver’s license and a professional social/health care card.
