Psykolog i Seinäjoki

We are seeking a psychologist for a fixed-term and full-time substitute at the Seinäjoki service point, starting on 26 October or as agreed, and lasting until 1 February 2028. There is a possibility of partial remote work. Our aim is to provide university students with the same primary health care service range regardless of the campus, and we serve students through on-site visits, remote appointments, and national digital services. We use Acute for the patient records system and BeeHealth’s YTHS Digi as our digital service platform. The psychologist's duties include independently providing brief psychotherapy via on-site and remote sessions for students. The role also involves basic cognitive assessments, literacy assessments, and group facilitation. There is also potential to participate in student community work such as studying environment inspections, student events, and collaboration with educational institutions and student unions. You would be part of an expert, multidisciplinary team, with professional support from a national psychologist network, colleagues at other service points, your supervisor, and the responsible psychologist. We offer thorough orientation and regular training to develop your skills, flexible working hours: full-time is 35 h 35 min/week with our annualized hours system, wellbeing benefits such as ePassi recreation benefit and wellbeing events at each service point, and comprehensive occupational health services. Our terms and pay follow the agreement of YTHS and the Finnish Psychological Association. For full-time psychologists, the salary range is 3972–5031 euros per month, and the role may include a discretionary allowance in addition to the base salary. We expect the applicant to be a licensed psychologist. Experience in independent patient care in health care and mastery of common psychological assessment methods are desired. Experience with brief therapy, student health care, and running therapeutic groups is an advantage. Proficiency in English/Swedish in addition to Finnish is an advantage.
