Optical retail offers bright prospects at Instru Optiikka. As a salesperson, you will meet every customer with joy and professionalism, working steadily toward sales targets with your team. You will provide customers with the highest quality products and services, including All Inclusive, extensive imaging possibilities, remote examinations, dry eye clinics, and the famous EssilorLuxottica brand assortment. Your day includes welcoming customers, performing preliminary tests, guiding them to an eye examination with an optometrist, and then presenting the best lenses, contact lenses, and fashionable frames based on the optometrist’s recommendations. After a purchase, you place the customized products in our ordering system, hand over the finished products, ensure perfect fit, and coach customers on usage. We expect from you prior experience in customer service and sales in a store environment, a willingness to work toward sales results with your team, the ability to switch tasks smoothly while prioritizing the customer, and motivation to learn new information and develop your optical knowledge. Good digital and system skills are also valuable. Although the role can be busy, you will receive thorough onboarding from experienced colleagues, monthly training, and annual training events to support your professional development. There are good opportunities for advancement and we will help you grow in your career. The position is a temporary replacement until 31.08.2027. We hope you can start in October, but the start date is flexible. Working hours are 37.5 hours/week, with shifts within store hours. We follow the Kaupan alan työehtosopimus, which means pay is influenced by prior experience in sales and customer service. Based on performance, commission is possible.
