We are hiring for our Tornio factory for a hot rolling mill to fill two production operator positions on a permanent, uninterrupted three-shift schedule (12-hour shifts). The hot rolling mill is the largest single production line in the plant by volume and plays a central role in Europe’s steel production value chain. In the process, steel billets are heated for rolling, pre-rolled, and finally rolled to the desired thickness, after which the hot strip is delivered as steel coils to cold rolling for further processing. Your area of responsibility includes working as part of the production team and ensuring quality production, operating on the rolling line. You should have a safety-minded attitude, a basic or vocational qualification in technology or logistics, good cooperation skills, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work independently, as well as good physical condition and readiness to work in varying conditions and to adapt to shift work. Experience in process industry is considered an asset.
