The Itä-Uudenmaan wellbeing district invites you to join as Controller in a permanent position starting 1 October 2026 or as agreed. The role sits within the parent organization’s Consolidated and Strategic Services, under the Financial Services unit and beside the CFO. As Controller you act as the financial partner to the business area, supporting leadership in decision making, service development and cost-efficiency improvements. You will contribute to defining operational and strategic metric data and to data production. Key duties include budgeting for the business area, financial reporting and preparation of financial forecasts, as well as various internal and external accounting tasks. The role emphasizes understanding the cost structure of social and health care and rescue services, and requires ability to dive into statistical data. You will succeed if you are curious, enthusiastic about numbers and phenomena, and actively seek fresh solutions through collaborative discussion, while also enjoying independent analytical work. We offer a pleasant, professionally developing work community with responsible and varied tasks. Work is performed both independently and in teams with different stakeholders and the team. Occupational health services are provided by Mehiläinen. We also offer remote work possibilities by agreement. The terms of employment follow HYVTES. The weekly working time is 36 h 15 min and the duties are daytime work. The workplace is in Porvoo with flexible remote work options. The task-based salary is 4,382.60 EUR/month, with additional pay based on work experience in accordance with HYVTES. The trial period is six months.
