About the role
Platform Strategy & Roadmap: Own and evolve the global strategy and roadmap for Collaboration & Productivity Platforms, spanning collaboration, productivity, automation, AI, and work management. Define target capabilities and align the platform direction with Digital Workplace, Enterprise Architecture, and business priorities. Lead platform standardization, consolidation, and rationalization across Business Units. Service Delivery & Governance: Ensure reliable, high-quality delivery of all Collaboration & Productivity services, with clear KPIs, ownership models, and operational standards. Establish lifecycle and governance frameworks covering access, workspaces, applications, and data. Oversee service risks, major escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with Software Asset Management, Procurement, and Finance to optimize licensing, utilization, and cost. Automation, AI & Digital Workplace Transformation: Define and drive automation and AI initiatives across the platform portfolio. Enable enterprise adoption and governance of Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, and emerging productivity capabilities. Champion self-service, workflow automation, and Digital Employee Experience initiatives that deliver measurable productivity gains. Vendor & Partner Management: Manage strategic technology vendors, implementation partners, and managed service providers, setting clear responsibilities and service expectations. Monitor vendor performance, service quality, and contractual commitments. Collaborate with Procurement and Software Asset Management on contracts, renewals, and commercial optimization. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Business Units and functional leaders to translate requirements into platform priorities. Work closely with Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, IAM, Endpoint Solutions, Service Management, and other technology teams. Represent the function in governance and transformation forums, communicating roadmaps, performance, risks, and investment priorities to senior stakeholders. Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of eight across multiple technology domains. Set clear objectives, KPIs, resource plans, and individual development paths. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will report to the Director Digital Workplace & Collaboration.
Experience & Technical Expertise: 10+ years of experience including leadership of enterprise collaboration platforms; strong knowledge of Microsoft 365; experience managing SaaS platforms; governance and lifecycle management; vendor management. Education: Bachelors degree in IT, CS, BIS or equivalent. Languages: Fluent English. Certifications and pluses listed in the ad.
