Monitoimitalo Loistossa operating Rakokiven peruskoulu is a ~430-student primary school located in Rakokiven business center with good transport connections. The modern building also houses Rakokiven daycare and Nastola library among other users. We have excellent sports and physical activities within walking distance and strong capacity for learning support. The position of teaching assistant is filled for the period 31 August 2026 to 5 June 2027. The work time is 29 hours per week (75.82% of full time). The demanding special education team includes a special class teacher and several teaching assistants. We expect the applicant to have at least a suitable upper secondary qualification (e.g., educational assistant, specialisation in children and youth in the near section of nursing assistant, youth worker, or child and youth special education) or the special vocational qualification for teaching assistants. The person chosen must present a criminal background check as required by law (504/2002) before taking up the post. A drug test certificate may be requested.
