Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Designer for Takoi’s Helsinki office to work on electrical systems design for new-build and renovation projects. The role involves designing building electrical systems, producing electrical drawings and other design documentation, sizing and planning electrical systems, coordinating design solutions with other disciplines, participating in design and project meetings, communicating with clients and other project stakeholders, and maintaining design documents and quality assurance. The role uses CADMATIC Electrical software. Required qualifications include relevant electrical training (for example an AMK engineer) or nearing graduation, interest in electrical design and a willingness to develop as a professional, solid understanding of basic electrical engineering, strong Finnish language skills (spoken and written), and a diligent, proactive work approach with good collaboration skills. Prior electrical design experience is not strictly required; a newly qualified electrical engineer may fit well. Desirable qualifications include previous electrical design experience, CADMATIC Electrical proficiency, experience with other electrical design or CAD software, and practical understanding of electrical installations.
