School Attendance Supervisor

We are recruiting when needed for short-term substitute placements in basic education attendance supervision for autumn semester 2026 (Aug 17 – Dec 19, 2026). Parkano Unified School’s modern facilities use new teaching technologies and digital environments to support student learning. Our joint goal is to support all students’ learning and well-being. The full school day is secured with free breakfast, clubs/activities linked to the school day, and morning/afternoon activity services. In addition to a qualified teaching staff and diverse learning environments, we also have student welfare services. The Attendance Supervisor works with the teacher and other supervisors to support students’ learning and attendance. Duties are diverse and may include supervising student transports and assisting with daily basic tasks. Also included are supervision during breaks and work in morning and afternoon activities. Positions are for grades 1–9. The daily/weekly hours vary by vacancy. Qualifications are not always required; suitability is assessed case-by-case depending on the task and length of employment. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Employment terms follow the Municipal General Collective Agreement (KVTES). Selected applicant must provide a criminal background extract as required by law for working with children. This is a continuous recruitment through Kuntarekry.
