Catering Shift Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and proactive catering shift supervisor for the autumn season 2026 for our client. The role focuses on coordinating and leading catering events in Helsinki with assignments possibly in the greater Helsinki area. As the shift supervisor you act as a key link between the client, the rest of the team and the catering kitchen, ensuring smooth operation of the event, coordinating staff, and keeping service on track with the schedule. Duties include setting up and striking the event, preparing buffet and service stations, presenting food and beverages, providing customer service and maintaining contact with the client during the event. You may also participate in service and be prepared to resolve arising situations independently. A valid B-driver’s license and experience driving a van are required because you will transport catering equipment to venues. The work offers good hours for the autumn season with a possibility of extension. We expect previous experience in catering or event work, ability to work independently and responsibly. Experience as a shift supervisor or similar overseeing role is appreciated. Strong customer service and teamwork skills, organizational ability and a cheerful, flexible work attitude are valued.
