AALTOVOIMA - AALLON VOIMALLA TÖIHIN We are seeking professional and experienced bus drivers for our client in Lapland for an upcoming busy winter season, based in Oulu. Our client is a leading, well-known and respected large company in the tourism and charter transport sector in northern Finland. Work begins according to the contract in November-December and lasts until the end of the season, approximately until March-April. Routes from Oulu are varied, including magical Northern Lights tours, customized charter trips, and passenger experiences for travelers. You will encounter international and domestic customers and provide memorable, safe travel experiences. Work is seasonally oriented with evening, night, and weekend shifts. What we expect from you? Because we operate in demanding northern winter conditions and are responsible for passenger safety in all situations, we require a strong professional background. Previous solid experience driving heavy vehicles in winter conditions (especially on Lapland roads) is crucial for the role. In addition we require: a valid D-driver’s license and professional driving competence (directive days completed); excellent anticipatory driving skills and the ability to handle a large vehicle in challenging weather and road conditions; a high customer-service orientation; at least English language proficiency, Finnish proficiency is an advantage, other languages viewed as a big plus for international customers; good stress tolerance, flexibility and ability to operate independently in changing situations.
