Food Production Worker

We are hiring production workers for temporary, on-call work in Kerava for our long-term partner. About the role You will work in ready-meal production, where food and people are at the heart of what we do. We are currently looking especially for people for the production kitchen and a few additional workers for packaging. In the production kitchen, your duties may include mixing food mixtures, portioning, process operation, self-monitoring checks, and washing machines and allergen equipment. In packaging, you will pack finished products and operate automated packaging machines. The work is hands-on and varied. Whatever your role, you are an important part of production and help ensure that high-quality ready meals are made smoothly and on time. The production kitchen and packaging work weekdays on a two-shift schedule. Production kitchen shifts are generally between 5:00 and 22:00, and packaging shifts between 7:00 and midnight. What we hope for from you We do not have a long list of requirements. Above all, we hope our future colleagues are self-motivated, cooperative and have a positive attitude. Previous experience in the food industry or packaging, relevant training and familiarity with equipment are advantages. However, previous industry experience is not required, as you will receive thorough training and support from your colleagues in your day-to-day work. The work requires readiness for two-shift work, fluent Finnish or English, and a hygiene passport, which you can complete during employment if needed. We also hope you are ready for physical work and, when required in packaging, working in cool conditions. Shifts are agreed flexibly according to your life situation and skills as well as production needs, so the work is well suited, for example, alongside studies. Your fixed-term employment contract will be with Biisoni and run until spring 2027. An extension may be possible depending on production needs.
