How we counted
We count every summer job ad in Finland that our crawler first saw between October 1, 2025 and August 31, 2026, once per ad even when it was posted in several places. An ad counts as a summer job when it is marked as one or its title says so (kesätyö, sommarjobb, summer job).
"Posted by" is the day we first saw an ad and "came down" the day we last saw it, so both are accurate to about a week: last winter we checked most sites weekly. We added many employers in early January, so some ads posted in December only show up in January. If anything, the real opening dates are earlier.
Fields with fewer than 100 ads are left out rather than estimated. We do not use first-seen dates from 20 September to 6 October 2026, when a change in how we identify ads gave old ads new dates.
