We are seeking a seasoned and development-minded strategic purchaser for our Pyhäntä factory to join our procurement team. The role combines strategic and operational procurement, covering contracts and negotiation, orders, and ensuring materials availability. You will help develop procurement processes and build cost-efficient, reliable supply solutions in collaboration with suppliers and other stakeholders. Key tasks include designing and implementing procurement strategies and tenders, managing and developing strategic supplier relationships, negotiating prices, commercial terms and contracts, identifying cost savings and development opportunities, analyzing costs, procurement data and markets, managing supply chain risks, and overseeing orders and materials availability while coordinating with sales, product development and quality teams for new product introductions and supplier onboarding. You will monitor and develop procurement performance.
