Special Planner

The Helsinki City’s Social, Health and Rescue Administration invites applications for a permanent position as Special Planner in the Facilities Services unit of the Social, Health and Rescue Department. The role starts as a fixed-term position on 1 October 2026 and continues as a permanent post from 1 January 2027. The main task is to provide expert support for spaces and projects related to family centres and health and wellbeing centres (PK/THK) in collaboration with other experts, representing the unit in different stages of construction and space projects. You will transfer operations and new operating models into the planning data, coordinate user collaboration and plan meetings, trainings and workshops, and independently respond to service requests related to spaces. Your duties include drafting investigations, opinions and decision proposals. The work is customer service oriented and requires understanding users’ perspectives and strong communication and negotiation skills in multidisciplinary networks. We expect experience from social and health services, user-centered design and participation, project management, team and parity work, and space projects. A proactive, solution-oriented and active work approach, plus good organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills, are valued. Knowledge of social, health and rescue sectors is a plus.
