About the role
The role The IT Datacenter Technician role involves maintaining and optimizing the IT infrastructure within our data center, including hands-on work with the advanced H200 GPU cloud cluster. Responsibilities include supporting the data center IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware issues, and ensuring smooth operation of critical systems. The role may require travel between data centers and participation in on-call rotations. This is shift work (day & night). Responsibilities also include: monitor IT infrastructure performance and uptime; diagnose server and network hardware issues; install, upgrade and decommission IT hardware; manage fiber optic connectivity; handle RMAs per procedures; collaborate with internal teams; maintain documentation.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and support the IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to server and network hardware within the data center.
- Perform installation, upgrades, and decommissioning of IT hardware in accordance with operational requirements.
- Manage and maintain fiber optic and patch cable connectivity.
- Handle Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) in compliance with company procedures and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Maintain and update documentation, manuals, and procedures related to hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
