Job Description

At Verda, we're building a fully featured European AI cloud, covering everything needed to train, experiment with, and deploy AI models at scale. We are a full-stack AI infrastructure company, meaning we design, operate, and optimize the compute powering modern AI workloads across training and inference. Our infrastructure runs on 100% renewable energy, helping build a more sustainable AI ecosystem. Join Verda while it’s still being built - not once it’s finished. About the role As we expand into the US market, we're looking for a VP of Sales to lead our North America sales organization from the ground up, based in our San Francisco office. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-scaling environment and knows how to build a regional sales engine from an early stage. You’ll own the North America go-to-market strategy, build and lead a high-performing enterprise sales team, and drive Verda's growth with hyperscalers, AI-native companies, and enterprise customers across the Americas. You’ll report directly to the Chief Business Officer and play a central role in shaping how Verda scales its commercial presence in the US and beyond. Responsibilities Lead the North America sales organization with full accountability for revenue growth, market expansion, and achievement of regional sales targets, reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer. Define and execute the go-to-market strategy across North America, aligning regional execution with the company's global commercial objectives. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing enterprise sales team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning. Drive strategic engagement with executive stakeholders at enterprise customers, hyperscalers, AI-native companies, and key ecosystem partners. Oversee complex, high-value enterprise sales opportunities, supporting the team through executive-level negotiations and deal execution. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment across product strategy, customer needs, and commercial execution. Develop strategic partnerships that accelerate market penetration and expand the company's presence within the AI and cloud infrastructure ecosystem. Establish accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and operating cadence to deliver predictable revenue growth and business performance. Provide market intelligence and customer insights to influence product roadmap, pricing strategy, and competitive positioning. Represent the company at executive meetings, industry conferences, customer events, and partner engagements across the Americas. Qualifications 12+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, including leadership of high performing regional or global sales organizations. Strong network of executive relationships within AI-native companies, cloud providers, enterprise customers, and strategic technology partners across the Americas. Experience selling and technical understanding of AI infrastructure, machine learning, cloud platforms, GPU technologies, or high-performance computing. Proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth and consistently exceeding sales targets in enterprise B2B environments. Experience building, mentoring, and leading geographically distributed sales teams across multiple markets. Preferred Qualifications Experience scaling commercial organizations within high-growth startups or venture-backed scale-up environments. Background working closely with product and engineering teams to shape go-to-market strategy and influence product direction. Experience establishing channel, alliance, and ecosystem partnerships that drive enterprise growth. Practicalities Location: San Francisco, US Hybrid: 3 days a week in the office Employment type: Full-time permanent Salary: $250-350k+ base salary per annum depending on experience + commission plan.
