Sales Assistant

We are recruiting for our client Kattokeskus a roof sales assistant for permanent employment in the Oulu area. The job is full-time and mainly daytime, with occasional customer visits in the evening. Kattokeskus provides customers with top roof services using quality materials and own installers. Good quality is the priority, achieved through strong cooperation between salespeople and installers. New employees receive onboarding and integration into the team; experienced roof experts and installers willingly share knowledge. As skills grow, more responsibility and opportunities to develop methods are offered. The work involves active field sales: meeting new people daily, assessing their roof condition, and helping them find the right solution for their situation. Customer acquisition is done by phone, door-to-door, and occasionally at stands or fairs. With experience, you’ll also receive ready-made leads to handle. Key strengths in roof sales are activity, goal orientation and courage to meet customers face to face. The best preparation comes from previous sales experience or construction-industry background, but the right attitude, social skills and willingness to learn are most important. A driving licence is required; discussions with customers are primarily in Finnish.
