The Iisakki Village area is a replica of the Iisakki Rajala yard from Paajavesi, featuring a rich mix of old log structures relocated with respect to tradition, modernized for today. Inside the log buildings is a broad range of services, including reception with A-licenses, diverse accommodations, saunas, Iisakki House restaurant and experiential services and fire pits. We are seeking cooks for Ruka to be part of a top team. As a cook, work takes place at Iisakin Talo, Kontioluola and Ukonkivi, located in the beautiful Kuusamo and Ruka scenery. As a cook you will prepare food for breakfast service as well as lunch and dinner service. We require previous experience in cook tasks. You can work independently but you are also a strong team player with a genuine desire to create memorable dining moments for guests. If you bring a positive proactive attitude, it will take you far! One for morning breakfast/lunch shifts and one for buffet shifts. The contract is temporary, from 23.11.2026 to 31.3.2027. The pay is competitive according to your experience, about 15–17 €/h, and if needed accommodation on-site at a reasonable price. The chosen person will be employed through Lisäpalvelu Pohjois-Suomi Oy and we provide Lisäpalvelu’s support and security throughout your journey. We take care that everything goes as agreed and that you enjoy your time at the destination. What do we expect from you? • Industry training and at least 1 year of experience in similar duties. • Positive work attitude. • Good social skills and ability to handle pressure. • Hygiene certificate. • Finnish language proficiency is mandatory. • Driving license B. • Car (beneficial).
