Food Service Manager

As a Food Service Manager you will be part of the Palvelukeskus Helsinki multi-service unit, whose staff provides food and cleaning services to city units. In Kontula Senior Centre’s kitchen you ensure customers receive tasty and nutritious meals every day of the year. In this role you join a skilled team that delivers food services. Your duties include overseeing orders, tracking consumption and waste, preparing side dishes, presenting meals, keeping the kitchen clean and handling dishwashing, while interacting with customers professionally with a smile. Requirements include suitable education or equivalent work experience, strong organizational skills to operate in a busy environment, hygienic pass, fluent Finnish (other language skills are a plus), and being a positive team player. We offer a full-time permanent position with weekend and holiday shifts (Mon–Sun 6:45–17:15).
