Fire Suppression Systems Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager for our client Caverion, someone who can keep many things in hand. In this role, you will do important work with various fire suppression systems. As a Project Manager, you will work on diverse and challenging projects involving automated sprinkler, water mist and gas fire suppression systems. Your everyday work includes equipment design, procurement and collaboration with installers. You will have the opportunity to contribute to project development and come up with new solutions. As Project Manager, you are responsible for the smooth progress of fire suppression system projects from the planning table through practical implementation. Sites are busy and schedules are sometimes tight, so the role requires the ability to keep several moving parts under control, as is typical in project work. Your work base can be either the Oulu or Tampere office. If you already have strong experience and a highly independent approach, we are also open to the Helsinki metropolitan area as your work location. Responsibilities: - Design equipment and present it to the customer - Procurement and equipment installation - Scheduling, resource planning and collaboration with installers - Participation in site and contracting meetings - Site inspections related to contracts We are looking for: - Relevant educational background in electrical engineering, HVAC or building services engineering - Good project management skills and experience in project work - Interest in fire suppression systems - Fluent Finnish and English We value previous work experience in project manager roles.
