We are looking for a temporary biology-geography subject teacher (substitute teacher) for Jämsänkoski Comprehensive School for the period 14 September 2026 to 5 June 2027. The lessons will be placed for grades 7–9. The appointment is due to a temporary replacement. We offer an active work community where support is shared and developed together. The city of Jämsä uses Edenred benefits. The eligibility criteria are in accordance with the decree 986/1998. The terms of employment follow the current collective agreement (ovtes). The selected person must provide an acceptable medical certificate of health and a criminal record extract in accordance with Act 504/2002 within 30 days of notification of the selection decision. The selected person is required to participate in the initial health check at Jämsä city’s occupational health service, which includes drug testing. Jämsä City is a smoke-free workplace. A three (3) month trial period applies to the position. Applications should be submitted through Kuntarekry by 31 August 2026 at 23:59. Interviews will take place in week 36. Original proof of qualifications and employment certificates should be presented at possible interview.
