About the role

We are seeking two work-life and social studies trainers for integration training in Helsinki and Espoo. You will teach adult immigrants at the integration phase to function in work life and society, support students toward individualized work and study paths, and identify language practice opportunities. You will introduce students to the Finnish labor market and workplace rules. Teaching is primarily in-person at our Helsinki Ruoholahti or Espoo Otaniemi campuses, with a few online sessions. You do not need to be an experienced trainer yet — there is room to learn and grow. You will be supported by experienced supervisors and a multidisciplinary team (including other work-life and social studies trainers, career coaches, and learning supervisors). We ensure a comprehensive onboarding. We hope you can start as soon as possible, ideally in September. The position is permanent and paid monthly. In Helsinki, we currently offer 80% working time (4 days/week) and in Espoo 60% (3 days/week). There is potential to increase or adapt hours in the future as workload grows or new groups begin. Why join us: you can genuinely influence the integration and employment of immigrants, motivated adult learners, an energetic and passionate work culture, pedagogical freedom to design instruction using your strengths, strong teaching materials and plans plus colleague support, occupational health care through Terveystalo and the ePassi benefit for your sports and cultural activities. Spring House is one of Finland’s leading training and coaching organizations with more than 270 trainers and coaches. Learn more at our website. Requirements: at least a lower-level university degree (if completed abroad, an OPS equivalence decision and a top-level YKI test or excellent state language test are required), pedagogical studies (60 credits), at least one year of experience guiding or teaching adults who are immigrants. We also value hands-on methods and a coaching approach, and existing regional networks for internships is a plus. We strongly encourage a heartfelt, ambitious attitude. How to apply: submit your application as soon as possible. We will begin interviews immediately and fill positions when a suitable candidate is found.
