Procurement Manager

We seek a permanent procurement manager to lead and develop HSY’s procurement services. Hello and welcome to HSY! We do important work: ensure sustainable water and waste management for over a million residents in the capital region, and provide environmental data to improve our surroundings. We are recruiting for Helsinki, Ilmala, Administration and Legal Affairs Department. The Procurement Manager will lead procurement services, manage and develop procurement operations and lead a seven-person team. Responsibilities include leading procurement services and contract management, preparing and executing procurement procedures in collaboration with various functions, providing guidance and training on procurement matters, and coordinating internal and external stakeholder collaboration. Requirements include a suitable university degree (e.g., commercial, legal or technical), several years of public procurement experience, leadership experience, excellent Finnish and good English, and a proactive development mindset.
