We are now looking for a Manager, Logistics Equipment and Warehouse Operations to join our Warehousing team. This position is located in Helsinki, Finland or Gdansk, Poland. In this role you will be responsible for: Leading the sourcing and contracting of logistics equipment (such as tank containers and rail wagons) and related services, supporting category strategy development and execution. Managing logistics equipment and warehousing service providers to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. Overseeing warehouse operations and driving high performance across the logistics network. Monitoring supplier performance through KPIs and ensuring compliance with contractual commitments. Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Leading cross-functional projects supporting Kemira's growth, profitability, sustainability, and customer service objectives. What you’ll bring to the team: Several years of experience in sourcing logistics, transportation, warehousing, fleet, or other indirect services in an international environment, including RfQs/RFPs and contract negotiations. Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing suppliers and service providers, with a focus on performance and continuous improvement. Solid understanding of logistics operations, preferably including warehousing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive and results-oriented mindset. Ability to work effectively in a complex international matrix organization. Experience driving process improvements and leading projects from concept to implementation. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an advantage. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment. Ability and willingness to travel occasionally as business needs require.
