Night Distribution Dispatcher

We are hiring a Night Distribution Dispatcher in Lahti for a fixed-term, part-time position averaging about 32 hours per week. Shifts are primarily from approximately 23:00 to 08:00, with some weekend work. You will ensure night-time operational throughput in collaboration with the production supervisor, handle the processing and directing of parcels across area facilities, manage vehicle fleet and respond to unexpected operational changes at night, and coordinate weekend operations and reporting. The role may include temporary substitution for the production supervisor and performing distribution tasks. You will report to the regional production supervisor and collaborate closely with other operators on your region. You must be willing and able to work night shifts. Excellent English is required, and you must be able to communicate in Finnish verbally and in writing if needed. You should have strong stress tolerance, the ability to make quick independent decisions, and experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). You are a flexible team player who supports the team’s success and have good collaboration and interaction skills. A valid driving license and substantial driving experience are needed, and owning a car is essential for this role. You should be prepared to travel between your region’s facilities.
