Asbestos Abatement Worker

Asbestos removal workers are sought for independent work in Oulu. The job is performed at client sites/worksites. You will carry out dismantling work on structures that contain asbestos-containing materials and ensure clean air in spaces in accordance with statutory requirements. Requirements include a valid asbestos removal license (mandatory and you must be listed in the official registry), valid asbestos work additional training (within last 3 years), experience in asbestos abatement and safe working methods, valid occupational safety card and a medical certificate (fitness to perform heavy respirator work) before starting, good Finnish language skills for understanding safety instructions and documentation, high work ethic and meticulousness with adherence to processes and safety. We offer a salary according to your competence and experience, at least in line with the Construction Industry collective agreement, twice-monthly pay, onboarding, appropriate work gear for each task, daily support, opportunities to develop skills and progress to more demanding roles, and help finding new work after fixed-term assignments.
