Nurse

We are seeking one nurse for a permanent position at the Social and Health Care Situation Center, Sote-tilannekeskus, in Seinäjoki, Finland. The role involves urgent care needs assessment over the phone for the Emergency Care Hotline 116117, and handling personal security alarms as part of the multi-professional team. The team also includes regional paramedics and client coordinators; collaboration is multi-disciplinary and networked with professionals from Sote-tike and other partners. Professionals at the Sote-situation center provide services and care assessments in unpredictable situations, offering guidance and directing to appropriate services. The center supports both citizens and professionals in the field and coordinates mobile services for home-delivered services. Primary duties upon starting include telephone-based urgent care needs assessment and handling of personal alarm devices. The position also involves developing the center’s operations in cooperation with other professionals and possibly other tasks within the center. Qualification requires licenced nurse. Prefer strong acute care experience and experience with urgent care needs assessment and familiarity with the region. English and Swedish language skills are advantageous. Terms of employment and salary are determined by the applicable SOTE collective agreement; starting pay grade is 3273.74 EUR/month. A probationary period applies.
