We are seeking an experienced project manager for steel construction projects for our client Rautarakenne E. Kauppinen Oy, to lead projects from start to finish. The role is part of a three-person project team and works closely with the managing director. The company is a family-owned steel construction contractor established in 1979, known for high quality workmanship, reliability, and long-standing customer relationships. Responsibilities include overall project execution from estimation and procurement to manufacturing, installation, and project financial management; tasks include project leadership from start to finish, cost and bid calculations, procurement coordination, supervising manufacturing and on-site installations, scheduling and cost tracking, invoicing, and client/partner communications. Requirements include a few years of experience as project manager or similar, experience in steel construction or construction, ability to lead projects independently, strong cost calculation and procurement skills, excellent reading of drawings, strong IT skills, proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented work style, a B driver's license and own car. Education may be in construction or mechanical engineering or technical field; strong practical experience can compensate for formal education.
