We are now looking for you CLEANING AND KITCHEN ASSISTANT (institutional cleaner, cleaning and kitchen duties) for a permanent 60–90% position at Solum Toukolakoti in Nurmijärvi (Rajamäki). Your work will focus on cleaning, and your regular shifts will be morning shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (60%). If you wish, you can also work kitchen shifts on other days, in which case your working time can be up to 90% of full-time hours. The work will start as soon as possible. Toukolakoti is an elderly care home with 60 places that opened in November 2025. Most of our residents have memory disorders. We provide them with help and care around the clock, and individual care continues through the final moments of life. It is important to us that everyday life is safe and active. Your duties in brief: - Weekly maintenance cleaning of residents’ rooms, staff facilities, common areas, the sauna and washroom - Periodic cleaning tasks and, when necessary, deep cleaning of residents’ rooms - Laundry - Kitchen duties such as heating and serving food, dishwashing and receiving deliveries You will report to the unit manager. We expect you to have: - Institutional cleaner training or solid experience - Previous experience in similar duties - A hygiene passport (for kitchen work) - The ability to work independently and manage the overall workload - Finnish language skills of at least B1 - Interpersonal and communication skills The role requires vaccination protection under section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a criminal record extract for working with older people.
