Job Description As a Network Specialist, you will play a key role in Patria's telecommunications team, responsible for the functionality and development of demanding and security-classified network environments (including TL3 and TL4). You will work in close cooperation with the datacom team and solution architects to ensure that telecommunications networks meet the established quality and security requirements. Responsibilities - Maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of environments (including firewalls, routers, switches, and WLAN access points). - Maintenance and optimization of virtual networks (VLAN). - Active collaboration and sparring with the datacom team and solution architects. We are looking for - Work experience: Strong experience of approximately 5 years with demanding telecommunications networks and diverse environments. - Technical expertise: Deep understanding of IT network operational logic, routing, and firewall technologies. Understanding of how data networks are constructed (including IPv4 address calculation, VLAN technology, dynamic and static routing, interpretation of network device configurations, and basic telecommunications terminology). - Process expertise: Ability to adopt instructions and strictly follow agreed processes in a security-critical environment. - Language skills: Fluent skills in Finnish and English. Considered an advantage: Experience with solutions from several different device manufacturers, device authentication, advanced troubleshooting, and experience working with official requirements (e.g., Katakri) or environments built around other frameworks. The person selected for the position will undergo a basic security clearance and drug testing.
